This tiny lil diorama, called, One Day I Went for a Walk, rests inside a spoon, while others are created inside medicine vials, or on the tops of tea bags. I’m happy to have found these tiny little worlds, and will have to keep an eye out for them. She’s currently got a show at the Brenda May Gallery in Australia. Cool. The little white fella wouldn’t leave her alone, he moved away a bit, but came back every time. He was the flirtiest balloon we’d ever seen. He got right up in her face. Then earlier this afternoon while scrolling through Instagram, I came across, photographer, Amy Touchette’s photo of a handsome lil black balloon who coincidentally followed her home last night. Then, when I returned from brunch, I found this sweet misshapen metallic gold balloon, waiting for me, clinging to my door, resting in my threshold. It’s too early to decipher what all of this balloon mania means, but I’ll keep you posted. Happy Balloon Year!
